Better Everyday #70 How To Eat & Train If You Have PCOS & A Deep Dive Into PMDD

February 10, 2018

In this episode we covered several unique aspects of both nutrition and exercise for PCOS. Perhaps most importantly that you have to honor your unique PCOS metabolism in addition to other hormonal imbalances such as cortisol, thyroid, etc.as you filter through any dietary and training advice.

We also take a close look into PMDD – premenstrual dysphoric disorder – which is much more than just super bad PMS.

This condition can be extremely difficult to live with and is often treated ineffectively with SSRIs. In this show we talk about the lesser discussed cause of this issue which is inflammation and how this impacts both serotonin and dopamine.
