Better Everyday #51 Dr Steven Lin Talks Cavities, Crooked Teeth and Bleeding Gums

June 22, 2017

This episode touched on so many topics we’ve covered before – gut health, stress, ancestral eating – but never before have we done a deep dive into how all this affects our oral health.

Holistic and functional dentist, TEDX speaker, About.com and MindBodyGreen contributor, Dr Steven Lin joins us with his amazing Aussie accent and shared some jaw dropping (pun intended) info on what we can do to have healthier gums and straighter, whiter teeth – and our kids too! We asked him to school us on mouth taping, toothpaste, canker sores and whether or not you can actually heal a cavity with a good Paleo diet. Fascinating stuff.

Learn more about Dr Linn here and look for his new book The Dental Diet out January 2018.

We are planning MORE Q&A episodes in the coming months so send us yours at bettereverydaypodcast@gmail.com! Follow us on Facebook together or keep up with Dr Brooke here and Sarah here. Learn more about working with Dr Brooke at betterbydrbrooke.com and with Sarah at sarahfragoso.com (obviously). Oh and you can find Dr Brooke and Sarah on Instagram as well.

Loving the show? Please give us a review over at iTunes! We would be so grateful for you taking the time to leave us a little love.
