Better Everyday #118 Lessons On Loss With Christa Doran

March 13, 2019

Christa is an inspiration. She is also a strength coach, gym owner, wife, mother and a woman who has suffered and endured every parent’s biggest fear…the loss of a child.

In this episode Christa shares with us her experience of getting a fatal diagnosis of DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) for her daughter Lea when she was just five years old. She bravely shared this experience on her blog and on social media and allowed us all to see the raw reality of her painful journey.

In this interview she shares with us how she coped, how she’s rebuilding, how it affected her marriage and the impact it’s had on the parenting of her other two daughters. We’re so grateful to Christa for joining us and reminding us to be more present with those we love, stay committed to our true priorities and remain grateful for what we have each day because life can change in a second.
